Inside the resort, besides lots of gambling and shopping, you can find delicious restaurants such as Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse, Todd English’s Tuscany and Hash House a Go Go. While it was loud, with multiple TVs around the restaurant showing different sport channels, we didn't feel like it was too chaotic.Last weekend, I took a much-needed weekend off from everything (including my blog) and visited Mohegan Sun Resort, which is one of the largest casino resorts located along the banks of the Thames River in Uncasville, Connecticut. And the sweet potato fries were a good substitute. We probably would have been good sharing three, but we both managed to finish both mini-burgers. The burgers were tender and had so much flavor. There were three to a serving and our waitress suggested we add another so we each could have two. And while the jalapeno ranch gave it a bite, the heat was balanced by an almost vegetable flavor.įor our third - and final - course, we opted for the bacon jam sliders, with tomato bacon jam, crispy onions and truffle mayo on potato rolls. They balanced the flavor of the whole dish. These were amazing and the green onions were not just for decoration. Our second bite was the BBQ chicken spring rolls, which came on drizzles of jalapeno ranch and bbq sauces, topped with green onions. She didn't want us to have to deal with a dirty plate on the table. We tried to keep the leftover fondue to die future bites in, but our waitress brought us a new serving of hot fondue instead. We started with the signature appetizer, the garlic bread with Great Hill blue cheese fondue. We started with a sangria and a local draft beer from Outer Light, recommended by our servers. We wanted a lighter dinner, not sure we got it because the finger food we ordered were heavier, but all so good. the start of the meal to the end and even mentioned to someone we assumed was a manager that the trainee was the most confident and competent we have ever had.
We had a trainee waitress (under the supervision of a trainer), but we felt incredibly well taken care of from. On our overnight at Mohegan Sun, we decided to eat at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, the casual sister restaurant of the higher-end steak house.
